Product Description
This "Level 3" brass steel tip dart set from Unicorn, "the big name in darts," is suited perfectly for the recreational dart thrower. The 3 included darts each weighing in at 23g are constructed of painted brass textured barrels and poly shafts, and come with 3 flights, 3 shafts and 8 flight protectors. For your storage and traveling needs, the set also includes a compact plastic case.

I bought these from Dick's Sporting Goods about 4 months ago and they have been working great. I throw a lot every day and so I've gone through the square set of flights and cracked one of the thick shafts and have been using one thin shaft.
Most references I've researched suggest beginning with a low cost dart of 23g. Then you can try different weights, different finishes, etc. I've had very good success with these darts, being able to get consistent enough to play Cut Throat Cricket (where you need the ability to hit a certain number multiple times to close it out quick). I highly recommend you get these to start and go from there. I called one "dart store" and the owner said that Unicorn is a legendary company and that other than Unicorn, he would also recommend Bottelsen. He said stay away from Halex, that those are low quality and they make all sorts of "leisure" game equipment.

Serves me right for completely ignoring the previous review how these darts are cheap and will snap apart when dropped on the floor.
The shafts will snap at the screw and will be pain in the ass to get out. They obviously didn't do any stress test to this product since it's so cheaply made.

Not great. I don't understand why they don't make all darts with metal stems. But I guess that's my fault. Either way, other buyers can get better quality darts for the same price if they buy from less prestigious brands like Nodor, etc.
