I'm generally happy with the dartboard. I had looked around locally but seemingly had a hard time finding good selection of low priced dartboards. Settled with this from online and I am generally happy. Average quality with average price. However son found same quality with better price at Academy later. Cons - Some bounce outs due to the wire gauge since using it and the numbers on the bottom quarter are obscured by the border lettering but generally speaking it I am happy with the dartboard. If I had to purchase over again....I'd look for the three sided wires/wedge wires and clearer border...but would settle for this if need be.

Apparently, according to the reviews here some people got decent quality boards, but mine is terrible. I have had it for less than two months and the metal wiring which divides the sections is coming off on almost the entire left side. Even before this started happening I was dissatisfied because the wiring protrudes at least a quarter of an inch from the board and is held on by very large "staples." This made for a lot of surface area that the darts could bounce off of and not stick in the board, which happens at a ridiculously high rate compared to most decent dart boards. Do yourself a favor and look at another model. I know that I won't buy Halex again.

I purchased this dart board for our office in Afghanistan. It arrived and was put into use immediately. The board itself is a good dart board, but the wire that separates the scoring zones and numbers is cheaply held in place by a few cheap staples. When darts hit the wire, it actualy bends the entire thing so that it starts to pull the staples out and the wire begins to actually pull away from the board. In some places the wire is about 2-3 mm from the surface of the board. I would say after about 50 games, the wire frame was bent such that it affected games. I wouldn't recommend this dart board to anyone.
