These shafts are used extensively on Black Widow darts. They are also known as Kwiz Shafts. These shafts are extra strong and light weight. The high density metal wires at the rear of the shaft hold your flights securely but will release the flight if it hits an obstacle already on the board.
1 set Spider Leg Dart Shafts, Medium Length, 2BA, Includes O'rings

I've used these dart shafts before with good results.
The good: If you dart flies in close to another dart, the flight will easily drop from the wire shaft. This is good because the dart tip difflection is reduced with the collision. Your darts can group tighter together as the flights fall off. With aluminum shafts, the flight holder in the back can get mangled as it is struck by darts. The wires on this shaft tend to keep their shape well.
The bad: The soft plastic tubing that holds the wires together will start to split after being hit by darts multiple times. The more hits, the looser the four wires become. A quick fix may be wrapping it with electical tape until you can order new shafts.
My best advice would be to find a set of shafts that you like and buy three or four packs of them. Then you will have plenty of spares to change out. That way you are not out of commission until you have your replacements.

Looks are really good but the wires are not straight even with the tube over them. so they don`t hold the flight so well another wast of money. Ive been flying through shafts looking for the best one but still no luck yet...
