The Halex Impact electronic dartboard is a great choice for your downstairs rec room or upstairs den. The board boasts a total of 21 different games and 65 level variations--enough for all but the most demanding darts player--with an LCD display helping keep track of the bar-style cricket scoring. The board also offers in-game feedback with voice commands and sound effects, helping keep the action lively. Best of all, up to eight players can play at once, letting you invite your buddies over for a throw-down darts tournament. Other features include a standard-sized 13.5-inch target, double-in/double-out options, and six brass darts with replacement tips. This review is from: Halex Impact Electronic Dartboard (Sports) Bought this for my boyfriends apartment. It gets a lot of use. We havent plugged the batteries in yet, so im not sure how the sound is, but i have noticed that the dart tips bend really easily, so you might want to invest in some additional dart tips. The tips dont damage your walls either. With plastic tips, no worries of accidental pierced skin, or walls. I still would not let him at this age play without supervision because the plastic tips are still pointy, but it much safer than metal tips. They stick well into the board and if they bend you can easily straighten them back out. He loves it and feels like a big kid. I can't speak yet about the electronic scoring or noise and we have not put batteries in it yet. This review is from: Halex Impact Electronic Dartboard (Sports) If I were buying again I wouldn't buy this one. According to the date of the transaction I have only had this board about 1 month. I have used it only lightly. A few days ago when I went to play it simply didn't power back on. I changed the batteries out and it still doesn't work. Also the darts that come with the board are so bad that they are nearly unusable. If you do go ahead and buy this board anyway be sure to buy a set of decent darts to go with it.
