I wasn't satisfied with the aluminum shafts that came with my darts. After a few days of playing those shafts would be bent and the flights would be difficult to insert. I initially wanted spinners as a novelty while playing, but I soon found out I like them much better than solid shafts. The nylon shaft also last much much longer than it's solid aluminum counterpart. Overall these are cheaper, last longer, and the spinner doesn't deflect other darts as much. Very satisfied with this purchase.
