I bought them as a spare set because I did not want my friends using my $80 set of darts. What I found out was these throw just as good and have about the balance. These are great! I've been using them for a number of weeks, and I really couldn't be happier with the darts themselves. I was hoping for the heaviest set, and was lucky enough to get them (1 in 3 chance). The darts are much heavier for their size than the cheaper darts most people use, even the $15-$20 ones that many of my friends own - this is a result of the Tungsten. (i.e., since the barrels are made of a dense material, they can be heavier with less bulk). The result: Heaviness = less likely to bounce off or fall out of the board; Skinniness = darts block eachother less, so getting 3 triple 20s isn't impossible :) They came with extra flights (fins), and extra shafts, both of which are a different color than the ones that come on the darts.
