I am a good recreational darts player so I am a little more picky about quality. Have an arachnid plastic tip board at home b/c of kids, but while on deployment, bristles and sharpened steel (or tungsten) is my preference. This is one step up in quality from my previous 'deployment dart board'. I can't believe I got it for such a low price. Probably taken 3000+ darts in 2 months time and no loose fibers noted. Have noticed that the ridged metal ring does decrease bounceouts everywhere except in the bull. A heavier dart may alleviate that i throw 21 grams). Instructions and hardware were very good.
