 Not at ALL poor quality as the last reviewer contends, By This review is from: Viper Pitbull Soft Tip Dart, 18gm (Two Diamond Cut Rings ) (Sports) The only other review so far claims that these are poor quality darts because the pitbull design flights that induced the reviewer to buy them were cheap and were ruined within a few throws. The flights, true, are not the best. But then any dart player experienced enough to consider spending $50 on a set of darts ought to know that any non-nylon flight can easily be ruined in one throw. They are meant to be replaced and in no way signal poor quality dart construction. The fact is, when you buy a set of darts you are, with very few exceptions, paying for the barrel. Period. The tips, shafts, and flights that come with are all replaceable for pennies or just a few dollars. The barrel and its weight, balance, and grip are what is important. All the rest needs to be customized to your throwing style anyway, which is why included tips/shafts/flights are generally cheap. Why should the company pick up the tab for something that is likely to be replaced almost immediately anyway... Lets face it 10 out of 10 people are buying this because it says pitbull...sadly enough I'm one of them. The only proof you should need is the fact that you can't buy JUST the flights A N Y W H E R E! So when they crap out with less than a dozen throws under their belt(no bounce outs or backdoors mind u.)You wont be able to get replacements, otherwise I'd just say buy JUST the flights but they suck too. Barrels are cool(kinda) but far from justifying the price. Case is pretty lame as well lid stash has tiny pockets you can't even shoeHoRN A shaft into....Like I said....Sad Really.
